  2. Changing Quality Control Limits

Graph III uses two sets of control limits in QC graphs: action limits and warning limits. You can control the display of quality control limits using options in the Quality Control Limits dialog. Control limits can be calculated automatically by Graph III, or you can specify where you want to position them. You also can change line color, width, and style and control the display of warning limits in a QC graph.

  7. Select a QC graph.

  10. Choose Quality Control Limits from the Graph menu.

  13. Choose Action Limits, Warning Limits, or Central Line from the pop-up menu in the upper-left corner of the dialog.

  16. Specify the settings and attributes you want to apply to QC limits.

  19. Click the Show button to preview your selections without exiting the dialog.

  22. Click OK to exit the dialog and apply your selections to the selected QC graph.
